Shots were fired on residents arriving home in the 2800 block of Delaware in Santa Monica on May 15, 2009 at approximately 9:23 p.m. Two suspects approached their vehicle and then fired several shots. No one was hit and the suspects fled on foot.

Police believe that the victims may have been specifically targeted as a result of previous incidents in which they were involved.

The first suspect is described as a male, Hispanic, 20’s, 6’01” approximately 150 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark plaid shorts and white pulled up socks. The suspect was pale but has acne.

The second suspect is described as a male, Hispanic, 20’s, 5’ 7” stocky build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark plaid shorts and white pulled up socks.

The suspects fled west from the location on foot. No vehicle was seen and the suspects are still outstanding.
