SMC Presents Eclectic Music |

The Santa Monica College Music Department will present in April an eclectic mix of concerts, ranging from jazz to classical, all of which will be held at the SMC Performing Arts Center on Santa Monica Boulevard at 11th Street in Santa Monica.
This is the lineup:
* Friday, April 24 at 7 & 9 p.m.: Jazz: Jon Mayer Quartet, with special guest saxophonist Plas Johnson. Jon Mayer, the playful and superbly inventive bebop-based pianist, brings his quartet and delectable sounds to the SMC stage. The Edye Second Space at the SMC Performing Arts Center. (Tickets are $10)
* Sunday, April 26 at 4 p.m.: SMC Wind Ensemble, under the baton of Kevin McKeown. The concert will feature the music of Charles Ives, Percy Grainger, Leonard Bernstein and JS Bach. The Broad Stage at the SMC Performing Arts Center. (Tickets are $10)
