The posh Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Marina del Rey will display 25 images from the Santa Monica College spring student juried show in the hotel lounge forone month beginning Friday, Sept. 25.

An opening reception will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25 at the hotel's Lobby Lounge, located at 4375 Admiralty Way in Marina del Rey. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be available throughout the event.

"This is a terrific opportunity for our students," said Photography Department Chair Larry Jones. "So many students are interested in being in a show, but it's hard to do. This exhibit at this luxury hotel gives the students a chance for exposure in a public venue with lots of traffic."

"This exhibit is a great opportunity for the Ritz-Carlton team to invite our neighbors in to enjoy some wonderful local art along with our world class cuisine and service," said Director of Food and Beverage Kris Kaminsky. "We take great pride in our partnerships with the local community and it is always special when we can come together to showcase local talent."
