EMERITUS COLLEGE SHOW " Tools for Transformation" Feb. 25, 2010 to March 26, 2010 Santa Monica College's Emeritus College is pleased to present "Tools for Transformation," the 2010 Student Juried Photography Exhibition, Feb. 25-March 26. Comprised of color, black-and-white and digitally manipulated photographs, the exhibit was juried by Santa Monica-based independent curator Robin McCarthy. Winning first prize was Cheryl Beychock for her photo "Descarga" (which means jam session). Second place went to Lorraine Ginsburg for "The Eiffel Tower" and capturing third place was Virginia Baldioli for "Velodrome. Juror's Choice award went to Gerald Schneir for "Morning Scene at Varanasi." Altogether, the works of 19 artists - including the four prize winners - are featured in the exhibition. The others are Gladys Barsallo, Emil Benko, Arlene Bronner, Cass Cassidy, Bella F. Desser, Jim Gerstley, Alvin Glass, Marjorie Grace-Sayers, Susan Hartman, Charles M.
